Therapy for Young Adults in Atlanta

Find Clarity, Feel Confident

We support the mental health of young adults in Atlanta equipping you to navigate life’s biggest challenges.

Life can be overwhelming at times…

  • Trying to figure out what’s next—college, career, and relationships.

  • Feeling stuck in destructive habits like drinking, gambling, or procrastination because of chronic stress.

  • Frustration with trying to balance everything in life resulting in anxiety or depression.

Imagine feeling confident and in control of your future.

With healthier habits and stronger relationships, you’ll be able to make decisions with clarity, enjoy this stage of life, and create a future you’re excited about. We’re here to help.

I’m Ash Blanton

For years, my life motto was 'work harder and don’t ask for help.' I struggled with perfectionism, anxiety, and the overwhelming  feeling of having to have it together all the time. I know how tough it can be to feel stuck and unsure of where to turn.

I became a therapist to help young adults like myself have a space where they could talk about the struggles they face and solve their problems by building on their strengths and skills.

My goal is to help you find solutions to life’s biggest problems, whether that’s gaining clarity about the future, overcoming destructive habits, or balancing relationships and responsibilities. You don’t have to navigate this season of life alone.

The Ember Counseling Difference

Relational

Therapy works best when we’re on the same team and connection is essential. I care about learning what you are interested in, whether it is music, sports, or art and incorporating them into therapy.

Experiential

Our experiences shape us. Talk therapy can be great and useful, however it more impactful to incorporate it into the real world. We work to make therapy an active process.

Solution-Focused

We want to give you the tools to use outside of the therapy office. When you leave, you’ll have a tool belt to navigate life’s challenges.

How to get started:

1. Schedule a consultation call.

The first step is booking a consultation call. The purpose of this call is to make sure that we are a good fit for each other and that our work can help you reach your goals.

2. Book an initial appointment

If both of us feel like we would work well together then we will schedule your initial appointment. This appointment helps us experience what it is like to work together and get clear on your direction and goals.

3. Clarify Your Goals and Learn About Yourself.

Explore what’s holding you back and discover your strengths

4. Follow a Personalized Growth Plan.

Gain the tools you need to take control of your future.

You deserve to feel confident and hopeful about your future again.

 FAQs

  • Our rate is $200 per session.

  • As is the case with other extensively trained and highly qualified therapists with many years of experience, I am not on any insurance panels and my clients pay privately for my services. This gives you several important advantages, including protecting your privacy (the insurance company does not have access to your diagnosis or what was discussed in our sessions) and control of our work together (you and I determine the length of therapy, what you want to cover in therapy, and the type of treatment that you find is effective and works, not the insurance company). This provides you with the best experience and services.
